Eco Minerals Product Review

I was first introduced to Eco Minerals products around four years ago when I was working at a local health food store. Within the first couple of months of my employment I was invited to an event showcasing the range and didn’t really know what to expect. The event was held at a lovely little vegan café close to China Town and before listening to Lulu (one of the founders) we were treated to the most delicious dinner complete with raw vegan mini cakes!

After making our way upstairs we listened to Lulu talk about Eco Minerals humble beginnings, where it is today and the ethos behind the business. What I was struck with immediately by listening to Lulu was her warmth, authenticity and how important it was to her that her range is vegan/cruelty free and made using only pure natural ingredients.

Before this event I was never a fan of mineral makeup and always opted for a liquid foundation or BB crème for coverage. Even whilst listening to Lulu talk I didn’t feel that the products would be a good fit for my beauty routine. After the event we were given the choice of a couple of products to take home and try out and I figured I might as well give it a go. I opted for a flawless mineral foundation, kabuki brush, mineral blush and hi light crème.

So to cut a long story short I ended up really loving the products and the way that they felt on my skin.

Throughout my work at the health food store I introduced countless women to the Eco Mineral brand and saw first hand the amazing results the products gave them. I have also continued to use the products and especially loved using them when I was travelling to warm countries as they feel so lightweight and natural on my skin.

My favourite products in the range include the mineral eye colour in sunset rose, alchemy hi light crème, flawless mineral foundation and vegan makeup brushes. To be completely honest the only product that I tried that I wasn’t 100% in love with was the mineral mascara. However, I am extremely fussy with mascara, I only tried it once and this was a couple of years ago so I would be open to trying it again with new eyes.

If you are interested in trying out eco-minerals for yourself the company has an app that makes choosing your perfect colour really simple and they also offer single sample colours for only $1.99 with free shipping.
